We truly believe that developing a positive attitude towards oneself and learning is the foundation of a successful school career. Every child is unique and has his or her own individual style and capacity for learning. We are deeply committed to helping our students reach their maximum potential — academically, socially, and emotionally.

We strive to accomplish this goal by providing a wide variety of enjoyable learning experiences that are appropriate to the age and needs of our students, within a warm, caring, and nurturing environment.

Top Ten List of Reasons Why You Should Send Your Child to WPS Kindergarten

  1. Very small teacher/student ratio. Class sizes are limited to 20 children with 2 MA certified teachers (plus an aide if we have more than 15 students), both of whom have Master's degrees and years of teaching experience. Last 2 year's classes had 13 and 12 kids which gave them lots of opportunities for small group and individual instruction.
  2. 3-hour program (as opposed to 2 1/2 hours in public schools)
  3. No switchover mid-year - morning session all year
  4. Flexible opportunities for extended day
  5. We offer Spanish once a week, art classes twice a month, and creative movement twice a month
  6. We follow the MA Department of Education curriculum frameworks and Westford Public Schools Kindergarten benchmarks, but use a developmental approach to our teaching with lots of hands-on experiences.
  7. No bus - what they learn riding the bus can wait until they're older!
  8. Warm, loving, nurturing teachers. There is no guesswork - you know exactly who your child's teacher will be.
  9. Daily communication with teachers at the beginning and end of each day since you provide your own transportation.
  10. We provide a safe, familiar, comfortable, true early childhood learning environment which develops self-confidence and builds self-esteem.
